has a slightly different meaning for someone who is blind.
usually when i say that to a sighted person it is followed by an series of adjustments to hair, clothing, and position.
get my good side. how was that? i blinked. that must look terrible. let me see. wait, try again.
i was cautious to say it to someone who can’t see, unsure what it even meant to them, but most are enthusiastic. i’m now teaching a photography class geared for blind and visually impaired.
originally, i was assigned to take photos to help the camp i am working for gain some publicity but i couldn’t help but get a little personal and will share my intimate shots here. i felt it was important to say that all subjects posted agreed to and felt comfortable having their photo taken.
